Long Island Black Artist Association would like to announce the passing of Ernest Snell, our last surviving founding member of our art association. He passed on November 13,2019.

 His beautiful woodcarving name plates will be cherished by many professionals who were lucky to have one in their offices. He was also a great source of history to members of LIBAA and someone we could always turn to for information. It was always a treat seeing him at our meetings. He will be greatly missed.
